Edgar Snow Collection

The Edgar Snow collection at the UMKC Libraries contains the personal archives of international journalist and Kansas City native Edgar Snow, including photographs, correspondence, and film footage from his wartime reporting years (1928-1957). Highlights of the collection include materials related to 20th century international journalism in eastern and southern Asia; the development of American-Chinese relations in the 20th century; and Chinese history from the end of the Qing dynasty in 1912 to the present.
