Established in 1971, the UMKC School of Medicine has six academic programs including our innovative, accelerated dual-degree B.A./M.D. 6-year program. The School of Medicine offers four master’s programs: Master of Science in Anesthesia, Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant, Master of Health Professions Education, and Master of Science in Bioinformatics. An interdisciplinary Ph.D. program allows students to integrate clinical research skills into their doctoral programs.
