MoCA Suit Up Fund

Ever heard the phrase, “first impressions are everything”? The MoCA Suit Up Fund focuses on a powerful truth: how students feel when they show up matters. Throughout the year, MoCA scholars participate in multiple MoCA-hosted events and programmatic efforts, including leadership development sessions, employer engagement opportunities, networking experiences, and campus and regional career fairs. These spaces often come with unspoken expectations around professional dress - and not every student has equal access to what’s required.

This fund helps provide professional attire such as suits, blazers, dress shirts, slacks, and professional shoes, ensuring scholars are prepared for career fairs, interviews, conferences, and signature MoCA events. When students feel confident in how they present themselves, they can focus on building connections, telling their story, and seizing opportunities that can open doors long after graduation.
